Educating children with special needs since 2005

Ready to Learn

Our Ready to Learn programme aims to enhance emotional, behavioural and cognitive skills in a child. We believe that it is important to integrate social-emotional learning in our programme that builds self and relationship awareness and management. The learners develop intrinsic motivation, confidence, and independence, and begin to actively participate in their learning.

  • Smart but scattered children
  • Children in mainstream schools who are not achieving
  • Children who do not thrive with conventional teaching approaches
  • Boost his/her independent learning skills
  • Create a more organised learner
  • Feel confident and proud of his/her own discovery towards learning
  • Cultivate enjoyment and connection with text to himself/herself

Programme Structures

The programme structures are created by gathering the essence of several programs and adapted based on the learning needs gathered from clinical observations. Some of the programmes include Mediated Learning Approach, BrainRx™, and Visualizing & Verbalizing®.

  • Mediated Learning Approach was developed by the late world-renowned Israeli psychologist, Dr Reuven Feuerstein and has been widely adopted by over 80 countries. This research-based approach is aimed to enhance an individual’s learning and modify thinking thus boosting his/her cognitive development, social competence and independence across all areas.
  • BrainRx™ is a cognitive training programme developed in the United States with the objectives to help struggling children to think, remember, read and learn better.
  • Visualisation is a powerful strategy to help the children to visualise the text by creating mental images and thus improving reading comprehension.
